28 Outlook Academy Students Graduate in 2015 PDF Print E-mail

Outlook Academy announces 25 graduates for 2015: Eva Bartlett, Ruth Black, David Boyd, Austin Clark, Christina Clemans, Joshua Davis, Madyson Elise Ertley, Katie Fulks, Jason Garvin, Michael Trent Harris, John Ross Hartley, Caleb Hollis, Jonathan Jackson, Kaylee Shyanne Johnson, Corey Kendall, Joshua Ryan Lassiter, Phoenix Matlock, Leah Perz, Ashlyn Powell, David Reed, Ashleigh Roberts, Dallas Rowland, Abby Scott, Betty Smith, Abigail Smith, Kayla Stalnaker, Katie Woodham and Scott Wright.

Eva Barlett will pursue a major in Civil Engineering at Auburn University. She resides in Wetumpka.

Montgomery resident Ruth Black plans to attend AUM and major in biochemical engineering as part of the pre-engineering program.

David Zane Boyd graduated on May 20. Currently he is working at home; he and his father have built a forge and are making knifes and other decorative metal items. He is considering a welding class at Shelton State Community College in the near future. He lives in Vance.

Austin Clark plans to attend Jefferson Sate Community College. He resides in Pleasant Grove.

Millbrook resident Christina Clemans is going to be a nanny for this year to a family who recently lost their mom to cancer. She will be taking online classes through Sinclair Community College while there and working toward a hospitality degree.

Joshua Davis graduated in May. He resides in Montgomery.

Madyson Elise Ertley of Montgomery is currently enrolled in a certificate program for landscaping and gardening. Once completed she plans to start her own landscaping business.

Tallassee resident Katie Fulks is going to work and take online courses through Troy University. In Fall 2016, she and her two best friends will attend Troy University and try out for majorettes. She will major in Early Childhood Development.

Montgomery resident Jason Garvin has graduated.

Michael Trent Harris lives in Andalusia.

John Ross Hartley is the general manager/graphics designer for Showtime Graphics in Millbrook. He resides in Montgomery.

Caleb Hollis has graduated. He lives in Vinemont.

While continuing work as a computer repair technician, Jonathan Jackson plans to attend Alabama Southern Community College in Monroeville, where he resides.

Kaylee Shyanne Johnson lives in Brewton.

Corey Kendall graduated on June 16, 2015. He plans on getting a part time job and going to Massage Therapy School. After he obtains his license, he plans on using both spa and medical applications that he learns. He lives in Sterrett, Ala.

Wetumpka resident Joshua Ryan Lassiter current attends Auburn University Montgomery (AUM). His is majoring in Enrvironmental Science.

Phoenix Matlock has not finalized his plans yet. He is interested in computers, but also may possibly go into the medical field. He lives in Millbrook.

Moody resident Leah Perz will attend University of Alabama at Birmingham, majoring in International Studies. Not only was Leah’s homeschool transcript considered valid without any issue from admissions, but also she was invited to, and will attend, the Honors College. In addition, she has received over $10,000 in scholarships for the year, some of which are renewable. She and her parents are extremely happy and thankful!

Ashlyn Powell lives in Helena.

David Reed of Sylacauga will attend Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga., to pursue a major in Computer Science. With a score of 31 on his ACT, he has been awarded a computer science scholarship and music scholarship for violin.

Ashleigh Roberts resides in Lincoln, Ala.

Dallas Rowland lives in Valley Head, Ala.

Abby Scott will attend college. She resides in Athens, Ala.

In January 2016, Betty Smith plans to attend the North Alabama Dental Assisting Program in Decatur, Alabama.

Abigail Smith is currently seeking an apprenticeship in Cosmetology. She lives in Athens, Ala.

Although unsure of her plans right now, Kayla Stalnaker is leaning toward child care with a goal of owning a daycare one day. She plans to work in a daycare this summer. She lives in Tallassee.

Katie Woodham is also unsure of her plans, but she has started the admissions process for a local community college. She lives in Midland City. 

Scott Wright lives in Excel.
