Finishing their homeschool studies this spring are Outlook Academy students Sarah Bennage, Nathan Calvert, Emerald Eakin, Jessica Elaine Foley, Cameron Gmehlin, Seth Gray, Whitney Johnston, Justin Law, Dalton Miller, Erika Kristin Miller, Tessa Oldham, Kayla Ottinger, Jonathan Perz, and James Dakota Wolfe Stark.

Sarah Bennage will be working at a local daycare this summer and making final preparations to start Faulkner University in Spring 2011.  Her tentative plans are to go into nursing with an emphasis on neo-natal care. Bennage resides in Elmore.

Nathan CalvertPrattville resident Nathan Calvert (pictured left) plans to enter Faulkner University in Montgomery full time in the fall majoring in history. He hopes eventually to be a college professor of history and teach martial arts. Calvert, who currently holds a Youth Black Belt in Han Mu Do and a Red Belt in Tae Kwon Do, will test for his Adult 1st Degree Black Belt in Han Mu Do in November 2010.

Emerald Eakin of Montgomery is in the process of enrolling in college for the fall.

With her interest in pursuing a career in veterinary assistance, Jessica Elaine Foley has recently gotten a part-time job with a veterinarian. Foley resides in Wetumpka.

Cameron Gmehlin of Montgomery will attend Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, in the fall majoring in Russian and biology. Gmehlin, who has received $12,000 in scholarships, plans to take the MCAT and attend medical school upon completing his undergraduate degree.

Seth Gray resides in Opelika.

whitneyjohnstonWhitney Johnston (pictured right) graduated on November 18, 2009. She has been accepted to Daytona State Community College, in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she will pursue a degree in nursing in anticipation of working at one of the Children's Hospitals. Classes start January 2011. Johnston currently resides in Prattville.

Justin Law of Montgomery has been taking early admission courses at Auburn University Montgomery (AUM). He plans either to continue at AUM or take computer at Trenholm State Technical Collge. He is currently taking the Microsoft certification course. He has worked at Chick-Fil-A for three years.

Deatsville resident Dalton Miller will attend AUM this fall. His goal is to enter the nursing program, then move on quickly to medical school and become an anesthesiologist.

Erika Kristin Miller resides in Prattville.

Tessa Oldham lives in Pell City.

Deatsville resident Kayla Ottinger currently works with preschoolers at a local daycare. She plans to volunteer with the Millbrook Fire Department in fall 2010 and study to be an Emergency Medical Technician.

Jonathan Perz has been accepted to Florida College, a private college in Temple Terrace, Florida. He will major in computer science/web and game design. He received a partial academic scholarship thanks to his test scores and GPA. Perz currently lives in Moody.

James Dakota Wolfe Stark lives in Summerdale.
